About Sten Nordland.

Sten was born outside of Stockholm, Sweden in 1944, and comes from a family of writers. After earning a degree in economics and statistics at Stockholm University, he started his professional career in the late 1960's as a chief accountant in the credit card business. Finding life behind a desk boring, he set off on his own traveling the world seeking out new business ventures. With a sense of adventure, his travels took him to Australia, USA and Germany, as well as to the Canary Islands.
While on the Spanish islands he worked as a radio program manager and disc jockey. He also became a restaurateur, running a tapas bar complete with gaming tables and dancing.

These days a steady drive in the Lexus gets Sten from A to B.

1977 ribbon cutting ceremony on the opening night of the author's tapas bar and gambling joint on the Canary Islands. The honor was performed by the author's manager, Ingemar Pallin, on the radio station where Sten worked as a program manager and disc jockey.
